The BCLM Region constitutes one of the twelve regions within the Canadian Pony Club.
Canadian Pony Club is geographically organized into Regions, of which there are twelve across Canada, including three in BC: BC Interior North, BC Island, and BC Lower Mainland. These Regions oversee the functioning of the local branches within their area, extending support for education and activities beyond individual branch capabilities.
Each Region and Branch determines its own fees, depending on the programs offerred. The BC Lower Mainland Region boasts 11 branches and approximately 300 members.
At the heart of the Canadian Pony Club lie its local branches. Each branch independently manages its education and instruction programs, while encouraging and supporting its members to participate in regional, national and international competitions across various Pony Club disciplines.
The BC Lower Mainland Region is run by a Regional Committee, which is comprised of 11 administrative members and each branch’s DC, and also includes coordinators for various disciplines. This committee actively organizes member events, such as clinics, educational programs, and competitions covering Dressage, Prince Philip Games, Quiz, Rally, Show Jumping, and Tetrathlon, accessible to all branch members in the region.
